Welcome to Rede. We built this platform for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and we take your privacy as seriously as your health. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and mobile app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By creating a Rede account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Rede.
Because Rede collects health-related information, we want to be especially clear and transparent. We will never sell your health data. Ever.
1. Who We Are
Rede is a fitness and wellness platform based in the United States. We offer evidence-based strength programs, Pilates-inspired training, bone-density support, expert-led education, and a peer community, all designed for women 40+.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, automatically through your use of our app and website, and from third-party services you choose to connect.
Information you provide directly
- Account information: your name, email address, and password
- Profile information: age, photo, and any bio or community details you choose to share
- Health & fitness data: workout logs, activity history, progress tracking, fitness goals, and any health context you voluntarily enter (such as menopause stage or symptoms)
- Community content: posts, comments, photos, and other content you share in the Rede community
- Payment information: billing details submitted when purchasing a Rede subscription. Payment transactions are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number on our servers
- Communications: messages you send to Rede support or through in-app feedback
Information collected automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version
- Usage data: features used, screens visited, session duration, and in-app interactions
- Log data: IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and error reports
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze how our website and app are used
Information from third-party integrations
If you choose to connect Rede with Apple Health, Google Fit, Oura, or similar health platforms, we may receive data such as step counts, heart rate, sleep data, and activity summaries. You control this connection and can revoke it at any time through your device settings. We only access the data types you explicitly authorize.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, personalize, and improve Rede. Specifically:
Service delivery
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver workout programs, educational content, and personalized recommendations
- Track your fitness progress and display it back to you
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Enable community features including posts, comments, and profile visibility
Communications
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets)
- Send push notifications about workouts, reminders, and community activity — you can manage these in your device settings
- Send newsletters or product updates — you can opt out at any time
Improvement and safety
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Conduct internal research to develop new features and programs
Legal compliance
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities
- Enforce our Terms of Service
We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. A Note on Health & Fitness Data
Health information is sensitive, and we treat it accordingly. The health and fitness data you provide or sync to Rede is used exclusively to deliver and improve the services you signed up for. We do not share your health data with advertisers, insurers, employers, or data brokers.
You are always in control. You can review, edit, or delete your health data from within the app at any time. You can also revoke any third-party health integrations (such as Apple Health or Google Fit) through your device settings.
Please be mindful of what you share in public community spaces within the app. Posts and comments in the community are visible to other Rede members.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers
We work with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate Rede, including:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle subscription billing
- Cloud hosting providers to store app data securely
- Analytics providers to understand how our app is used
- Email and notification delivery services
- Customer support tools
All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
Third-party integrations
If you connect Rede to Apple Health, Google Fit, or other platforms, data flows between Rede and those platforms according to your permissions and their own privacy policies.
Community content
Content you post in the Rede community (posts, comments, profile photos) is visible to other Rede members. Please share only what you are comfortable with others seeing.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rede, our users, or the public.
Business transfers
If Rede is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice in the app before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (such as billing records for tax purposes).
Community content you have posted may remain visible to other users until you manually delete it or request removal.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) for all data sent between your device and our servers
- Encryption at rest for sensitive data including health information and payment records
- Access controls limiting which Rede team members can access user data
- Regular security reviews and monitoring

8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access and portability
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting hello@redelife.com.
Correction
You can update most of your account information directly within the app. For other corrections, contact us.
Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. You may also contact us to request deletion of specific data.
Communications opt-out
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings. Note that we may still send you essential transactional messages (such as receipts or security alerts).
Third-party integrations
You can disconnect Apple Health, Google Fit, Oura, or any other integration at any time through your device settings or the Rede app.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website and app use cookies and similar technologies (such as mobile SDKs and pixel tags) to:
- Keep you logged in and remember your preferences
- Understand how users navigate our website and app
- Measure the effectiveness of our content and programs
You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. On mobile, you can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect app functionality.
We do not use tracking technologies for third-party advertising.
10. Children's Privacy
Rede is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete their information promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact hello@redelife.com.
11. U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of your information. We do not sell personal information.

12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or through a prominent notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The updated policy will always be available at www.rede.com/privacy.
Your continued use of Rede after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
